Friends of Stonecroft

At first Ruth was the only one who could attend Stonecroft’s Live Extraordinary event in September in Kansas City. Then a few more of her fellow Women’s Connection friends decided to join her. They were going to have a livestream event for anyone who wasn’t able to attend.
Then they got an even better idea.
The decided to take the recordings available from Live Extraordinary and put together an event for the community at a local center. The center helped them advertise, as the Women’s Connection women also took fliers to the community. They also advertised on social media and in local television and newspapers.
They had no idea what to expect, but about 100 women from age 25 to 90 years old came to their event!
“Many of the women visiting at the table discussions indicated how they could relate to the two speakers we chose for the first event,” Ruth said. “The ladies at my table were hugging, mature women married 50 years were giving encouragement to the younger women married just a few years. I hear about the ripple effect every time we visit about our event!”
Ruth said the way Stonecroft made the livestream recordings available and easy to access, as well as the support they received from the website and staff, made it easy for them to take the wonderful content to their local community. It was such a success that they’re doing another one in January.
