Friends of Stonecroft
February 2023

Carolyn has been involved with Stonecroft since 1972. She has held numerous positions on both the local level, like the event you’re at today, and regional level helping other groups just like this one. She knows the value of Stonecroft’s commitment to reach out beyond ourselves and see others grow.

“It has helped me develop of better worldview, a better local view of how I can fit into God’s plan and reach out to others in my sphere of influence,” Carolyn said. Not only has she developed as leader in many ways but has had the joy of watching other women be welcomed to the community and grow as individuals.

“I have seen God work in the lives of individuals,” she said. “I’ve seen cooperation among women in so many ways and has consolidated effort to reach out in communities. Women need companionship of other women, and Stonecroft has given that opportunity to so many.”

She recounted the very first planning team she was on and how they became a second family, really loving and encouraging one another. Carolyn wants to see more women experience this companionship and personal development that she has enjoyed and benefitted from.

Stonecroft is committed to providing resources, training and opportunities like Carolyn described through events and connection. When you give to Stonecroft today, you’re helping continue a legacy started 85 years ago and is still thriving today, a legacy that builds into the lives of thousands of women across the country and globally.
