Holly decided early on to involve her daughter in her local Stonecroft group activities. She would come with her mom to the events and eventually started inviting her friends. Then her friends’ mothers started coming. It turned into a wonderful time for all of them.
One evening at the end of the event, the mothers were gathered around their table deep in discussion. The other tables started to disburse, and the venue staff started cleaning up. An hour went by, then two. No one wanted to stop their great conversation.
The girls were happily playing around them, creating dances and having fun together. Another hour went by, but no one seemed to notice. The community and connection were so deeply
needed by everyone, including the girls, that it felt natural to just let it continue.
