Shirley volunteered to help pilot one of the newest Stonecroft resources, Ordinary People. Extraordinary
Hope. It would have to be online, and she didn’t know any of the women who had signed up to be a part
of it. So, with a new participation book and lots of questions, she began the study.
Together, the women tried the activities, read through the material, and got to know one another even
though they had never met in person.
“It was challenging,” Shirley recalled, “but we figured it out together. And I know that I was there to
fulfill a purpose in these women’s lives.”
The resource is designed to spark conversation around activities, real-life stories, and thought-provoking
questions designed to meet women where they are at in their journey of faith. Ordinary People.
Extraordinary Hope. is the first in a series by Stonecroft to help small and large groups facilitate
meaningful conversations around topics that everyone deals with, like relationships, forgiveness, and
our pasts.
